Traditional Dream Factory 🐑
About TDF
Traditional Dream Factory (TDF) is a regenerative co-living space that combines community, technology and nature. TDF is designed to be a co-living space, a farm, a makers space, a co-working area, and one of your homes 🌳
TDF is a blueprint for a system where the land owns itself, challenging traditional ideas of ownership. They believe in decentralization as a practice, exploring new models for living together 🦋

@traditional dream factory
In May 2024, 40 participants joined Nomad Farm at an authentic regenerative nomad village in the region of Alentejo, Portugal and experienced the true meaning of community living. Together, we discovered innovative concepts such as DAOs, sociocracy, Re-Fi and played through ecstatic farming, cooking, touch labs & regenerative workshops. The experience was paced by daily rituals and experimental learning around Permaculture.

syntropic agroforest project 📈♻️🌳
Each week we explore a different facet of the concept of ' Regeneration'
Week two and three were dedicated to Land Regeneration.
With expert agroecology guidance of Nayã from Rota Agroecologica, we created a new Syntropic Agroforestry System designed in:
🪹 5 nests
🌀 1 spiral
🌗 3 half moons
🧭 Located strategically on the land to be protected from the wind, with plenty of sun light, overlooking the future lake
🪱 We created an environment for microorganism to return to the soil where we are developing the new system
🪵We used - existing soil, mulch, ash, wood chips, manure, wood, some basic tools including shovels and wheel barrows, our hands and our hearts
☀️We planted with the principles of density and diversity to maximize photosynthesis and bring life back into the soil
🌱 The design was divided in 2 planting areas: nests and short-cycle consortium. In each, choosing plants according to layer (height) - emergent, high, medium and low
💦 Irrigation from filtered grey water to make sure our system is receiving plenty of water
🌌 All of which was accomplished in 3 two-hour sessions! This is the magic of coming together, synchronizing for a common purpose with infectious positive energy

@tierra iris
In the spring of 2024, twelve participants worked remotely on the magical island of Ibiza from within the local Tierra Iris community. Learning about syntropic farming, developing a raised bed garden project, understanding permaculture practices and how they are practiced on the island. A truly unique experience discovering the island authentically alongside other nomads exploring a community lifestyle, regenerating the land, the self & our relationships.

nomad farm retreats
@tudo é arte
Tudo É Arte ecovillage is Nomad Farm's first partner!
In November 2023 and January 2024, we hosted two one-month long retreats, each welcoming 15 digital nomads to experience the ecovillage lifestyle together. On the land, guardians, residents & visitors live together in community, alongside domestic animals, including Rabicó (the pig), 6 dogs, 1 cat and many chickens. Living together harmoniously in ways that respect all life forms around.
Visitors enjoyed top notch remote working conditions in our eco-working space and unique barefoot cowork.
The experiences featured complementary bio-construction & permaculture workshops, capoeira lessons and yoga classes. Plus, Tudo É Arte offered various eco-art classes including eco-print, solar print, naturing dye and batik. Guests themselves hosted various workshops including biodanza, holistic health coaching, salsa class, traditional mala making, business mindshares, intro to ayurveda and many more.
Being located only 5-min walk to the Atlantic Ocean, many took on the challenge to try surfing for the first time!
Tudo É Arte is also a well-known cultural center in the area, welcoming local visitors and families for musical and cultural gatherings, allowing Nomad Farm visitors to be part of a local com. Located 1h30 from Florianópolis, we spent a weekend on each retreat in the digital nomad city, enjoying beautiful beaches, hikes and, why not, parties.
