About Riverside 🍄
Nestled in the lush coffee region and within walking distance to the enchanting pueblo mágico and Colombian cultural heritage town of Jericó. Riverside's mission is to promote sustainable living for digital nomads while making a positive local impact. Inspired by the Indigenous communities' harmonious relationship with the land, Riverside offers local and sustainable meals, circular waste systems, eco-friendly infrastructure, and a variety of healing and wellness offerings. The two-story bamboo coworking space, complete with ergonomic chairs, provides a breathtaking view of the verdant mountains. Visitors can enjoy nearby cafés, restaurants, museums, a botanical garden, and scenic viewpoints. The region is loved by outdoor enthusiasts for its paragliding, horseback riding, biking, and hiking. The location also features various spaces on-site including a permaculture garden and greenhouse, farm animals, river access, a shared kitchen, a bonfire area, pizza oven & more.
About the retreat
This retreat is a lifestyle immersion.
The purpose is to immerse the regenerative lifestyle by experiencing & exploring its different facets together.
Over the four weeks at Riverside, we will embark on a journey of land, self & relationship regeneration.
Focusing each week on one of these dimensions: soil, soul & soilmates.
This is Nomad Farm's second month-long experience at Riverside and one of our home base.

Regenerating Relationships - Week I / Apr 13 to Apr 20
The first week is all about getting comfortable with each other. Activities and daily practices are focused on community building, sparking inspiring conversations, developing connections, and reflecting on “outside” relationships

Regenerating the Self - Week III / Apr 27 to May 4
Body, mind and spirit. The third week is for looking inwards. We focus on movement, self-exploration, and connecting to the divine.

Though sessions start in week 1, on week 2 we will focus our “free time” to caring for the land, practicing permaculture and developing our bio-construction project (building with natural materials)

On the last week, we continue working on our bio-construction project and discovering how to best care for and relate with our environment.

About Jerico 🌈
Jericó is not only an important cultural town for Colombia , but also a true heaven for outdoor and nature enthusiasts. The region features countless waterfalls, natural parks (including ‘Las Nubes’), hiking trails, biking routes, breathtaking viewpoints, paragliding & horseback riding adventures. The region is most known for its world-renowned traditional coffee farms.
High (2,000 meter above sea level) altitude, rich volcanic soil, and tropical climate makes for the perfect conditions to grow what is considered to be one of the best coffee beans in the world. Además, Jericó is a ‘pueblo mágico’, a colorful town with friendly people (we’ve been there, it’s true!), cafés & restaurants, museums, a botanical garden, and of course, a true Colombian ‘campesino’ vibe.

A few years ago, we noticed a change in travelers’ preferences. Visitors were attracted to the multitude of beautiful locations in Colombia, and once they discovered Jerico, they were captivated. Naturally, many wished to stay longer. However, there were few places equipped to accommodate digital nomads, who need to maintain productivity while also experiencing Jerico’s culture and beauty. This observation led us to create Riverside – a dream come true!
We believe that the transformative digital nomad experience goes beyond simply working and traveling to different destinations. It’s about adopting a deeper, more nourishing lifestyle while appreciating the beauty of our surroundings. Driven by my passion for eco-conscious living, wellness, community building, and entrepreneurship, I founded Riverside. It’s designed to provide an uninterrupted, productive, and creative remote working experience for digital nomads. But more importantly, it seeks to enrich and nourish their body, mind, and soul during their stay, contributing to a comprehensive and uplifting experience right here in the paradise of Jerico.
As a native of Jerico and an entrepreneur, I’m deeply passionate about supporting my hometown. My goal was to create a space that meets the needs of digital nomads and travelers. Moreover, I sought to boost the local economy by buying and hiring locally, while also encouraging our visitors to contribute to the community. During your stay, you’ll experience the warm hospitality of our local staff and enjoy home-cooked meals made with local ingredients.
We encourage and our visitors contribute to the sustainable development of our local communities during their stay. Our goal is to foster a community where everyone can learn from the knowledge and experiences of others, acquiring new life skills in the process.
